MDU Resources Community Bowl
Home to Marauders football, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s track & field, the 6,000-seat MDU Resources Community Bowl includes an artificial surface playing field for both football and soccer; natural grass fields; a nine-lane track; high, long and triple jump areas; shot put, discus and javelin areas; a pole vault area; multiple locker rooms; and two concession and grill areas.
Opened in 1997, the Bowl enjoyed an $8 million renovation in 2014. Suites, a larger video
scoreboard, a resurfaced track and additional locker rooms – including the Marauders own Blue & Orange locker room – were among the enhancements made to the facility. The concessions area, restrooms, and the spectator facility were all also renovated.
Additionally a new artificial playing surface was installed in the summer of 2017.
Never quiet, the Bowl is operated and maintained by the Bismarck Community Bowl Authority and is also the home field for Bismarck State College, five area high schools, three middle schools and various elementary school events as well as outdoor concerts and other community activities.
